🔮 CLUES FROM THE MUSE:🔮![]()
Creativity resides right in your heart energy center. And ironically when you’re feeling betrayed, bewildered and bedraggled this area gets tense, tight and timid. The magic healing potion is…you guessed it…MORE of the big C...CREATIVITY! Color, clay, cook, care, carve, camp or clap. Taking action and creating something will CONNECT you back to your own happy heart. C is also for cookie…and sometimes that works too.

This is who I am. This is my jam. Love me or leave me. Take it or leave it.
I make no more apologies for who I am or how I am living my life.
I have capitulated, molded, pretzel-ed my self into shapes and visions that please the others, way too many times.
Bent over backwards, kept the peace, avoided a scene, went with the crowd, pushed my desires to the side...in other words "don't rock the boat baby".
All in the name of fitting in--being normal--looking cool--
Being weird, being different, showing true emotions or vibrating on a different level... That's just not very acceptable in "polite" society. That eccentric behavior or whirlwind energy was for celebrities, artists, millionaires or your crazy Aunt Joyce.
Somewhere along the line, I changed. It was fairly gradual. But I let my real self peek through the cracks.
I was a "theatre" person so some of my kooky stuff was excused. (like going to Burning man 4 summers in a row)
Then I was a tattoo artist so more of the odd stuff was overlooked.
{like pink hair--which Btw I had before I was a tattooer and before it was all the thing}
So I guess I had an edge on the whole being different is acceptable thing.
But I am talking... TRULY BEING ME. Warts and all. Glitches, stumbles, feels, flab, positive bubbliness, and woo woo weirdness.
I'm done being afraid of who will think what. Who will like my art and who won't. Who will like my writing and who will be put off by it.
Who will think I'm too fat, too old, too much, too loud, too 'head in the clouds' or too any-fuckn-thing.
This is what freedom tastes like. I made a decision to just be okay with me.
To decide means "make a FINAL choice, to cut off other possibilities"
so I decided. no going back.
I am who I am. So profound. Yet so liberating.

What is something about you that you wish you could "show the world" unapologetically??
